Concept Heidelberg GmbH expands Heidelberg site
Concept Heidelberg, Europe's largest seminar and conference organizer for pharmaceutical production and quality assurance, is building additional office space at its Heidelberg site. The extension will add another approx. 800 sqm of office space to the existing building. A total of approx. 2000 sqm of office space will then be available. Initial construction work has begun. Completion is scheduled for spring 2023.
Like the existing building, the additional space will have a high-quality design and is intended to create a pleasant working environment. With lots of glass and wood, the offices will have a modern design. All offices will be air-conditioned. A lounge on the top floor for all employees will promote communication and exchange. In addition, a photovoltaic system is planned that will store and provide electricity for electric and hybrid vehicles.
With the extension the company is accommodating its strong growth. While the Covid-19 pandemic has left many suppliers in the events industry in trouble, Concept Heidelberg has been able to expand its business considerably. In addition to events in 10 European countries, the online event business has grown into the company's second major pillar. In just two years, a comprehensive online seminar and conference program has been developed that is unique in Europe.
Online events are held live and moderated by Concept Heidelberg's Operational Directors (pharmacists, chemists and microbiologists). Specialists from industry and authorities from all over the world are also involved. This allows to present the complex regulatory and technical requirements for pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality assurance in lectures and discussions. In addition to live online events, Concept Heidelberg also offers "on demand" solutions. A database with over 1,000 hours of video material has been created for that purpose. E-learning courses that conclude with examination and certification are also being continuously developed.
As Europe's leading training and information service provider in the field of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical production and quality assurance, Concept Heidelberg develops and organises over 350 events annually, with approximately 15,000 participants in 10 countries. More than 600 speakers from the international industry and from authorities worldwide form the speaker base. This allows to cover all subject areas regarding pharmaceutical quality assurance (GMP/GDP) comprehensively. Concept Heidelberg also supports its customers with a wide range of other GMP/GDP services – e. g. in-house training, e-learning, consulting, literature and software for the implementation of regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical practice.
